That would look strange. The EAP cars had the HIDs, but US laws would not let them ditch the grill-mounted indicators. You could get the Euro grills for a while. Really cleaned up the front of the car.

Yep the 1970-72 ZR1 was the first, only 53 made. And for more trivia there was a 1971-only ZR2 that had the big 7.4 liter (454) V8. They only made 12 ZR2s.

The first Z06 was in 1963, when it was a true racing spec option. Although completely street legal and orderable from any Chevy dealer, it was meant for racing.
